Employee Benefits Broker and Specialist

Nick Godfrey Emplyee Benefits Broker

Nick Godfrey is a licensed life and health insurance broker specializing in strategic employee benefits. He partners with employers to strengthen retention, control renewal costs, and implement benefits programs that support long-term business success. His approach is practical and advisory-focused, helping business owners make informed decisions about plan design, funding structures, and overall compensation strategy.

A graduate of Bishop’s University, Nick began his financial career as a life insurance agent at North American Life in 1988, working as a retirement income and estate-planning specialist. After relocating to Oakville, Ontario, he served as an investment advisor with Ross Dixon Financial Services and later with Merrill Lynch, gaining extensive experience in client service and financial strategy. This background continues to inform his work today, particularly when advising business owners on the intersection of benefits, retirement planning, and corporate financial planning.

He supports the Hamilton Naturalist Club, the South Peel Naturalist Club and the the Nature Conservacy of Canada. He continues to live in Oakville with his wife Elizabeth, his son, and their very energetic Bernadoodle, Lyra.
